Dr. Eni Smith, MD, MPH

Eni Smith M.D. M.P.H is an addiction medicine and preventive medicine Physician with a passion for bridging conventional medicine with holistic and complementary care. Dr. Smith earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Princeton University. She received her degree with honors and focused on a variety of neurobiological and neurodevelopmental conditions. She completed her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville and went on to pursue a Master's in Public Health from Yale University. She began her internship training in pediatrics before transitioning to residency training in preventive medicine. She completed her medical education by pursuring a fellowship in Addiction Medicine at Yale University/Yale New Haven Hospital.​

 

Dr. Smith is well versed in treating substance use disorders, behavorial disorders, and behavorial addictions in adolescent and adult populations. She believes in a patient centered approach to care and keeps abreast of the latest innovations and most novel therapeutics available in her field. She believes in treating the whole patient on a biological, psychological and spiritual level and considers medicine to be not just a career, but a calling.
