The Monumental Project: Building Hope and Healing in the Heart of Cleveland

The Monumental Project is more than a program. It is a place of care, connection, and restoration for individuals and families in our community. Located at 14627 Aspinwall Ave in Cleveland, Ohio 44110, the Monumental Project serves as a safe and welcoming space where people are supported mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Through our collaboration with the Monumental Movement Inc. and under the umbrella of Personal Growth Counseling Services, we are able to offer high quality faith-based services that meet real life needs.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate integrated mental health and substance abuse services that are client focused and culturally inclusive. Every service we offer is designed to help individuals fulfill personal goals while being supported through faith-based principles, education advocacy, and service excellence. We believe healing is personal, and every participant deserves to be seen, heard and valued.

The Monumental Project offers a wide range of services including social work case management, counseling group sessions, and therapeutic services such as music and art therapy. Participants are assigned a dedicated Case Manager who helps with transportation to appointments, job interview preparation, resume building, counseling coordination, and ongoing support. Our Case Managers are certified Qualified Mental Health Specialists and are trained to work with various age groups including children, youth, adults, and families.

We proudly support individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional disorders, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. We also assist children with IEPs and families navigating school related needs because advocacy and guidance are essential parts of care. Many people are unaware of the services available at no cost to insurance, and we are committed to helping participants access the resources they qualify for. Services are available at no cost to individuals with established Medicaid insurance, and we continue to expand insurance options including services for veterans.

For families and youth, the Monumental Project provides an after school-program every day from 2-7:30 PM with transportation available. This program focuses on life skills tutoring homework assistance and social skill development in a structured nurturing environment. We also offer summer programming to ensure students continue to receive support, encouragement and enrichment year-round.

Adults in need are equally supported through our case management services. Whether someone is seeking stability, guidance, or connection to community resources; our team walks alongside them with care and consistency.

We also understand that wellness includes meeting basic needs. The Monumental Project provides daily meals Sunday through Saturday, ensuring that every participant receives nourishment along with care.
